About us

EURAC is an innovative Institute for Research and Further Education, comprising five areas of research: Applied Linguistics, Minorities and Autonomies, Sustainable Development, Management and Corporate Culture, and finally, Life Sciences.    

These diverse branches of research are underpinned by one common factor: researchers from a wide variety of scientific and geographical backgrounds cooperate in a flexible and interdisciplinary manner in order to carry out fundamental research in an effective and sustainable manner.  

In addition to nationally and internationally commissioned research, EURAC’s eleven institutes manage numerous projects which have a particularly local flavour, and which can be used as a model to be applied to other European regions.
