Loan
In principle, all items of the ECO library can be borrowed by all users in possession of a library card while external users are excepted from the loan of the EURAC library’s stock. Those items can be consulted in the reading room.
- maximum of items that can be borrowed: 10 contemporaneously.
- loan period: the loan period of all items is 30 days.
- extension of the loan period: before the expiration date of the loan period, it is possible to extend it up to two times (also by telephone) if the item has not already been reserved by another user.
- user account: all users can consult their account through the OPAC to control their loans and extend their loan periods autonomously. The access to the account can be carried out by using the personal library number (on the library card) and password (date of birth in the form of DDMMYY).
- overdue fines: if an item is returned too late, overdue fines have to be paid (see scale of fees).
Media packages/special loans
The ECO library offers special loans on specific topics (media packages, “Medienpakete”) for schools, other libraries and institutions on extra loan conditions.
