What will the future of electric mobility look like?

13th June - Eurac Research at the International Electric Vehicle Symposium in Oslo

  • English

Reducing emissions from the transportation sector is one of the fastest ways to combat climate change, but what are the biggest challenges for realizing zero emission transport on the road, at sea and in the air? The 13th-15th June, experts from all over the world will travel to Oslo, to participate in this year’s biggest conference on electric vehicles.

Wolfram Sparber is going to take part at the conference in order to give ideas, data and solutions to face the biggest challenges for realizing zero emission transport.

Sparber presented a recent study, commissioned by STA (South Tyrolean Transport Agency), where Eurac Research evaluates the application of battery electric buses (BEBs) and hydrogen fuel cell electric buses (FCBs) in order to assess the possibilities and limits for replacing current diesel buses with zero-emissions busses.

Eurac Research is also going to take parte at the General Assembly of the AVERE - The European Association for Electromobility, host of the conference - as member of the association.
