Science 4 You

RADIO

On Christmas Eve 1906, strains of "O Holy Night" crackled on radio receivers a dozen miles up and down the coast from the seaside town of Brant Rock, Massachusetts. The song, played on the violin by Reginald Fessenden, was the first AM broadcast in radio history. More than a century later, our appetite for radio has grown to include stories about scientific research and researchers. In collaboration with major local broadcasters, EURAC is on the air, presenting a range of interesting science programmes.
